I wish that would happen to me, I'm in the mood to reminisce.

Surely you'd want to reminice the night before and the night before that again and again?! 
Be careful! My first girlfriend from school got back with me recently and we had a fantastic time, but she hadnt changed and was still a cheating harpy / lieing female dog / deceptive cow!
If she was wonderful as a school kid go for it (that sounds slightly wrong), but if she was annoying back then with hindsight, be careful.

I know what you mean about that "blood going warm" feeling. It's amazing. It happened to me but it was a flying (ish) visit spent a month reminicing and catching up and extending our friendship in certain ways, but it was incredible. Sure it didn't last as she was moving elsewhere, but we never planned it to be something that lasted, however I can honestly say this was one of the best months of my life. Everything was just perfect that month. Gosh that was about a fair while ago in my early 20s! Still remember it minute for minute to this day though. Good times. Happy days!
I can honestly say, you've just described my July of this year.
It was never going to work, she was off somewhere, but that month was probably the best of my life.
And i'm in my mid-20s now though, rather than earlys!

Yeah - I mean I hadn't seen her in about 3-4 years and this was way before facebook existed or broadband internet etc... So the out of the blue message (she somehow had got my mobile phone (which I had had for about 2 years) a nokia 3210!!!
) we chatted and met up within hours of her arriving in London and that was that. She was as lovely as I remember her being, but grown up in all the ways I'd like! 
God I'm grinning like a Cheshire cat now - I'm not sad that it was just a short thing, but you kind of become nostalgic over these things.*sniff* I thought you said I was the best thing that happened to you! *sniff*
Ive got a few ex's on my facebook, most of them are settled down now, so theres not much chance of me "going there" and tbh, there are only a couple I probably would.
Went out with someone at the end of last year who I had a fling with about 4 years ago, I know now why it was only a fling cos he was still a twonk!

Ah, mine was a little different, years of friendship and always having secret feelings for one another (but never able to do anything about them)..
Then one day, she asked to ring me on a Wednesday evening (after travelling around the world for a year)
I said of course, and went straight home after work.
She rang me. Was awesome to hear from her.
She asked if I missed her. I said yes, more than she knows.
She asked if I wanted to see her. I said yes, as soon as possible.
As she walked through my front door.
I thought she was still on a different continent.
Best suprise ever! So that month was a good month.
One of those "dont be sad because it's over. Smile because it happened" moments.
I'm off to tommy tank now.

Went on some amazing dates, but broke up 2 years later when she had to move away
Still remember her phone number despite it being about 7 or 8 years since we broke up :/

I rememeber when i was 15 was going out with a girl (she was 16) who lived in Leeds. I still remember her number as she made me call every other day. I use the term going out lightly. I actually met her 3 times, it started from one of the old skool 'cyberchat' rooms. Luckily she didnt look like mark henry!
Id be interested to know what she looks like now
