Random computer crashing

Hello i have just started getting this problem with my pc yesterday, it starts off by slowing everything down, for example i will be on you tube and the video will crash then it will get worse and worse until the entire screen has frozen up. The first time it happened i pressed my reset button and when the pc turned back on i got some sort of error saying that i needed to have the correct media for the boot. I then turned it off by the button and turned it back on and it was fine. But i still get the random crashing. This problem doesn't seem to happen while on games or anything its mainly just when browsing.

OK i went into the m.i.t section and the voltage settings but there was no cpu vcore voltage response

I havent yet done those two things but i encountered a new problem which seems to be something to do witht he crashing, while playing gta 4 my computer froze and the screen turned into this multicolored mess of pixels and it was making a beeping sound. I then reset the pc and the computer was saying that the operating system was missing. Dont know whether that helps or not?

And i have changed the response setting now, the cpu/pcie was already at 100 as well. now i will just play the waiting game to see if it crashes again.

I changed the settings now and it still is crashing, before crashing my pc starts to freeze up like say ill be stuck on facebook, then it wont let me close the page then if i press anything nothing will happen and then the mouse will finally freeze up causing me to need a restart.
