Random computer Resets!?

AMD athlon XP 2400 +
512 MB Ram
20Gb Hard Drive

I have tried replacing the PSU, Anyone got any ideas ?

The computer will stay on for random amounts of time and then reset itself, sometimes it will just turn off and it will not be possible to turn the computer back on until the power lead is removed and put back in.

Check temps, memory, etc. anything you are running in particular when the resets happen? If so really do check mem...well check it anyway, have you got a floppy? Go get memtest!

The resets happen at, boottime, dos, bios, lol you name it and yes I have a Floppy drive


I was thinking it is more than likley the M/B

Phew after 2 hours of testing it turned out to be one power connector on my PSU that kept making the system reset... lol
