I'm having a problem that started a couple of weeks ago with completely random crashes resulting in the screen displaying a plain single colour. These aren't the usual BSOD type as there isn't any text & the colour seems to be picked ar random. Tuesday on three separate occasions I had white, pink & a rather nice hue of blue/cyan. Evidence of any problems doesn't show up the system logs at all & there is no apparent event or combination of events that trigger it either (except it usually waits for me to look away from the screen briefly before it does it so I can't catch it in the act 
).
No new software or drivers have been installed for the past couple of months. I've ran prime95 for over 13 hours without a single hiccup & ran several memory testing apps & everything passes with no problems.
I'm going to try a complete reinstall this weekend but before I do I'm wondering if anyone has ever had the same problem & if so, did you fix it?
