Random Crashes - GTX970

Looking for some help if you guys would be so patient.

I've upgraded to a 970 just over a week ago. I haven't bothered with Overclocking as it's the G1 Gaming edition so it's pretty week overclocked as it is.

Anyway, I've been getting frequent crashes which I have never had previously. Games that have crashed are :

Alien: Isolation
Lego Batman
Batman AO (stutters like mad, dropping to 30fps)

What's the best way to troubleshoot this? I don't want to start the RMA process without being reasonably sure it's the GPU at fault.

It says the game exe has stopped responding.

Hmm I suppose you could try DDU and uninstall all the graphics driver and PhysX and try the latest driver/beta. Or perhaps giving the voltages and power limit a nudge in MSI afterburner.

Worth a shot, so many things can cause game exe crashes

System overclocked? If so, try running everything back at stock with fresh install of drivers and see how you get on.

Put your CPU and GPU at stock settings and see if that solves problem.

Yea was thinking that. I'll clean install the current driver, and if that doesn't sort it I'll try to roll back.
