My wifes old rig experiences random crashes as much as two or three times per day. It just switches itself off with no warning and emits the mee-maw, mee-maw, mee-maw sound untill you push the power button and hold it in for 4 secs to shut down.
The error reporting says its caused by memory errors although the ram works fine in every other motherboard it has been tried on?
Is there any way of checking the ram slots on the motherboard, it's an ABIT NF7-S btw with 2 x 512mb sticks?
