Random Crashes?

Everyday when i leave my comp idle downloading or afk on a mmorg game

i come back from work and its crashed

my system is 1 week old and =

nothing is overclocked at all

my g card = gts 640mb upgrading soon...

anti virus = avast pro working really good

vista 64 ultimate :O!

and it crashes everytime, ive changed memory to up +0.10 volts and still nothing happens

really annoyed as i spent over £700 on this system and cant even stay up at temps 30-40 MAX on idle

my memory was running at 1.9

i upped it to 2.1 this morning and will see if crashes when i get back this time 2moro

should i go to 2.2 and see if stops crashes?

i just ran orthos on 100% on 2 cores

got to 51,50 on temps and then the comp hung and i had to restart

everyything = default but memory =2.1 volt instead of 1.9

whats going on?

got it upto 2nd test again around 52 temp and i stopped it

it smells smokey, i know that sounds bad

but not like smoke smoke but something dosent seem right

everything = default

and temps never go above 52 but i seem to get crashes a lot

sorry huddy im okay with cpu volts etc but that just lost me completely

i only crash when comp is idle, how dumb is that?

when playing games etc its perfect

but i like to download when at work and gfs etc

so ive left a macro running which presses keys and moves mouse

im back home at 05.30am 2moro morning and hopefully its still doing it

it crashes on desktop, and stays switched on.

dunno why, but im formatting in 2 weeks when i get my 4870

but untill then ill just do no downloading

ooooh i only changed the monitor from 20 minutes to 0 minutes

power profiles were 100% correct

i went back this morning and the macro will still moving the mouse across the screen

no idea why the computer crashes when 100% idle but leaving a macro on while im out is not a problem and very easy
