Random Crashing?

Hi all, i have an Acer Aspire 5630 laptop. I have had a problem for over a year now with it randomly crashing. I have reinstalled XP, Vista and windows 7 but it seems to happen in all versions. So this leads me to believe it is a hardware fault.

I have tested a brand new hard drive and ran seatools over the top of my original hard drive with no errors, the laptop still crashed.
I have ordered brandnew Kingston memory for the laptop... it still crashed.
I updated the BIOS to the latest version from the Acer website and again, it crashed shortly after.

I have stripped the laptop and cleaned the cooling unit and repasted the CPU and graphics chip and it is still crashing.

Something interesting though, when i try to run any DOS based memory test, the computer instantly locks up, this includes windows memory diagnostics in windows 7.

Ideas??

Hi Ninja12 I can't help thinking your issue is related to the system board. Processors don't normally go bad and you have ruled out just about everything else. It's a hard one to call but perhaps run UBCD (Ultimate Boot CD) and see what that turns up. Sounds like the main board is borked however. That would be my best guess.
