Hello,
Last night I began experience problems with my computer that I built myself about 2 months ago, after trying to boot into windows the screen would go black and my monitor would display "No Display Port signal".
I assumed it was the graphics card due to the card suddenly not being visible in Device Manager, so I took out the card (ASUS 1080ti) and installed my older (GTX 970) card, and that seemed to solve the problem. However I am now getting the same problem with the screen just going black and display no signal although I am actually able to boot and use the computer for 20 mins or so before it happens.
After looking in BIOS I noticed that the 12v was fluctuating quite a bit from 11.5 to 10.5 and bios was highlighting it in red, which I assume is that the voltage is insufficient?
PS: I do NOT get this issue when my monitor is connected to the Display port on my motherboard
Specs of the machine are;
i5 7600K
ASUS IX HERO z270
32GB triden Z 3000mhz ddr4
EVGA SuperNova G2 1000W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply
PS: I do NOT get this issue when my monitor is connected to the Display port on my motherboard
