I recently bought a MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II/OC from the B grade but i'm having problems.
Every now and then i get 5 small artifact squares (red) followed by a blank screen for around 5 seconds before it comes back and tells me the driver has recovered? It doesn't do it often, once every other day i would say. I've updated the drivers but still the same issue.

That would normally happen if you were overclocking the card & had pushed it that bit too far on either the core or memory.

To test this, lower the gpu & memory clocks by 50mhz & see if it still happens.

If you haven't been overclocking it then I'd contact OcUK about returning the card for a replacement.

Thanks for the reply. It did it a couple of times last night, one was a full checkered screen :(
I've never overclocked it, as a casual gamer it doesn't appeal to me.

Go into BIOS, look for integrated graphics and disable.

I had a lot of driver crashes caused by this but didn't have the artifacting. It's possible the gpu is faulty but it's worth checking the above... is there a VGA / DVI connector on your motherboard?

It's a gigabyte assassin 2 X79 which has no onboard graphics

Ah fair enough.. RMA time then methinks!

I take it temperatures are fine? I only chimed in because I think my card is the same as yours and I'd had similar issues. Since disabling onboard video all my problems are gone but this obviously doesn't apply in your case.

Then I'd contact OcUK to arrange an rma.

Btw Is there any chance the card's overheating?

Have you checked the temps while it's running in Catalyst Control Centre - Performance - Overdrive?

I've had the same problem for a few days now (my card is overclocked), when i'm playing Tera Online sometimes the screen will become black and then flash off and on and ill get a message saying the driver has crashed but recovered. Its strange because i also play BF3/Dead Space 3 and havent had this issue.

I drop the clocks from 1150/1500 to 1125/1475 as ive read this may help, i dont want to raise the voltage because atm its at 1.250
