Lately I am seriously considering dumping Facebook, the apps made the whole experience terrible but I got over that then the ads starting to irritate me but one killer thing has got me now. The friends list!
Why does no one get that is a friends list for friends not random people who I met once or got bullied at primary school by. People seem to see it as some kind of competition as to who can get the most friends. I have about 30 people on my list and see all of them regularly or talk to them on MSN. I am not interested in the girl who used to show boys her undies in primary school has ended her relationship.
What makes it worse is people get offended when you ignore them. I was chatting on MSN this morning to a mate and he was telling me that some girl was calling me snotty because I ignored her Facebook request to be her friend, for crying out loud I don’t bloody know her, how can I possible offend her? Not that I’m bothered tho tbh.
Sorry about the rant but wanted to make it publicly known how stupid it is and maybe a Facebook friend hoarder can explain it?
