I have an old PC, specs are as follows.
Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 socket 775
Intel E6600 CPU
ATI 5870
2 x Corsair XMS 2 DDR2 PC6400.
Corsair 450w PSU
Windows 8 Pro
The PC sometimes will not POST or hang during the POST. It will also not wake up.
My initial thought was the PSU but the online calculators say it is sufficient.
I have also tried another graphics card, ATI 4850 and some Geil RAM.
Whatever I change the problem still exists.
I have manually set voltages, tried them on automatic but again, the problem still exists.
When you are actually in Windows it seems to be fine, no application crashes, no BSOD etc etc.
Any ideas?
