Random graphic errors whilst in game...

Hi, i recently installed a palit GTX650 TI BOOST OC to replace my old GTX465

Ive only had it just under a week and whilst playing EVE and bioshock i noticed some graphical errors that i never used to have on my old card.

Eve: Locked targets dont show the icon just a yellow icon

Bio shock 2: Every now and then i walk through a door way and the doorway will go blue and black like it wasn't rendered properly

None of the above happened on my old card

My system:
Q8200 with H60 WC
XFX 780I triple SLI
Arctic 700watt psu
4GB DDR2 667mhz
1TB WD green HD
and the palit GTX650TI boost OC

The only thing that i can think of is that my mobo requires a 8pin to power it and i only noticed after years of having it that i only have a 4pin powering it, so maybe the GFX card cant get the power it needs from the mobo to properly run (it has a 6pin from the psu in the card as well)

Any help would be great

I would say get an 8 pin in that mobo as soon as possible mate!

the 4/8 pin is purely for CPU power

Your older card was more powerhugry and would have required the same power from the PCI-E lane, so doubt it's that tbh, also isn't the 8pin CPU connector just for the CPU? The 24pin is what powers the lanes etc.

You could try backing off the factory OC and seeing if that makes a difference.

Ive decided to start a RMA with ******...but as per no response after 3 days of it being up.

If they haven't got back to me by tomorrow im just going to start a paypal dispute
