Today i've been playing around with my bios a bit hoping to get my q6600 overclocked a bit more but before doing so decided to manually enter the cpu PLL voltage + FSB termination voltage, using the minimum voltages i put 1.5 + 1.2v, windows seemed to work fine, decided to go back in and check something else, but then while shutting down the pc hung.

Restarted the pc, didn't post, restarted.. no post, turned pc off for a few secs, on.. again no post, turned pc off by the power supply and left it for a few mins, turned on and it posts again, went back to my previous overclock settings, then while booting i get the message bootmgr missing.

Spent a few mins checking bios then noticed that in my boot device prioity it said something like raid0 maxtor, i have got a maxtor hard drive but it's for storage only and not part of my raid 0 setup which is 3x western digital's.

Disconnect my maxtor storage drive, boot prioity now shows Raid 0 intel and it boots fine, problem is every time i re-connect my maxtor storage hard drive it goes back to saying raid 0 maxtor and displays the bootmgr is missing message.

Can't think of what could be causing it, any idea's?

Just to point out atm i'm booted from my raid 0 setup while the storage hard drive is unplugged, using my usual overclocked bios settings, no issues at all, only getting the bootmgr is missing when i plug in my storage drive.a

Just found out what was causing the issue, under hard disk drives in bios 1) said raid 0 maxtor while 2) was raid0 intel volume01, swapped the 2 around and now it's back to normal, wish i thought to check that before posting this thread ^^
