random 'lock' up in bfbc2

apologies if this is in the wrong section, but i'm guessing its a gpu problem of some sort,

have a slight problem, on bfbc2 i randomly(usually at least once a game) get a massive drop in fps, down to about 4/5 fps and the game naturally almost totally locks up for a second or 2 then everything returns to normal. this will happen even if there is nothing much happening on sceen. have had the gpu at stock and oc'd to see if there was any difference, and none i'm afraid, temps are all fine, never goes above 60c. this just randomly started to happen about a week ago.

any1 any clues?

If you're on about this happening in multi player then I would agree with Cesar, or it could be a network thing. I've had this but never in SP.

really, that happens?? could be the explanation, as it doesn't seem to happen in any other games, or the single player game
