Hi guys,

My gaming rig had been playing up for a while now, very randomly though,so difficult to pinpoint. I'm thinking the ram, I'm currently using 4*8GB matched Corsair sticks at the moment so it's possible something is hidding there.

Tonight, and my rig is stock and very well cooled, I had a browser window running and Teamviewer session going - that was it. Then things started to hang... I couldn't even shutdown in the end, had to force it.

Is there anything I can try before checking in with Corsair, possibly even investing in 2*16GB sticks?

Thanks.

How long did it work okay?

Have you run any diagnostics on the hdds/ssds (and looked in event viewer for errors)?

XMP turned off?
My build has been rock solid since 2020 - and its had an absolute hammering! But in the last few months it has become a bit sketchy...

I had a couple of bsod a couple of weeks back but touch wood, that was a bad driver issue and appears to have sorted itself with updates.

My nvme C drive seems fine, a bit warm under load but nothing outrageous.

XMP is on but only so I can run the ram at their specified 3200MHz speed.

I think I'll start with some more memory testing ;)
