hi,my system is as my sig.now all was working sweet, then i added another gtx470 so i have 2 in sli.now i get occasional lockups and i'm thinking maybe it's my psu not giving quite enough juice.what do you think?

It's not going to be the power supply unless there's something wrong with it.

Your system is only going to use around 650W at full load.

ok,my psu is running at 4.4 at vcore 1.4 and i know the 470's are greedy when it comes to power.it's usually when i game that it locks up but the temps are low

p.s the 2 470's are clocked to 800/1600/1802 memory clock.now as said all was fine before so i know it's not the clocks on the 470's

Perhaps the new card doesn't overclock as well as the first one you had and this has introduced instability in your system.

Try returning the cards to stock speeds and see if the problem goes away.

ive had this with my i7 and i read in some forum that you should make sure the power setting in windows control panel is set to performance, i did it and it worked for me, worth a shot :D
