Hi,

I have a good BeQuiet 850w platinum psu but randomly my peripherals, especially my wireless ones seem to lose connection/power.

Is this a psu issue? as when i unplug some of the peripherals the disconnections stop.

As mentioned before, some devices will play-up depending on the USB port used.
Also, AMD had issues in the past with USB ports losing connection. Personally I’ve been using AMD for ages and never had this issue, but some people had.
My webcam used to cause slow boot if connected to the USB port. Not an issue on AM5 now.

Gigabyte motherboard and its on latest bios.

Some of the wireless is on dongles
Yes but which one exactly or if you don't know that at least which chipset and series of CPU's is it, because this was a long standing issue with some B550 and X570 chipsets with the Ryzen 5000 series cpu's, or it sounds very much like that issue.

so i did a bios update, and while it seems a bit better....its still not totally resolved.

checked the USB power settings and they are set to maximum performance with no sleep mode.
