-Hi-Switched my machine on yesterday and received this lovely error.
'Windows could not start because of an error in the software'
'Load needed DLL's for Kernel'
-The only way I managed to load into Windows was to put my XP CD in and it started normally after a lot of cursing trying to get Safemode, last known good config to work.
-I then ran sfc /scannow.
-Microsoft say reinstall / repair.
-Has anyone come across this and is there any way to fix it without reinstalling the OS.
