Ok, so my rig (in sig) has been running happily at between 2.4 and 2.8 for a couple of years now, and all of a sudden, I'm getting hangs from my system before even a proper boot...I turn it on, my monitor flickers as if about to display something but stays black and nothing happens. I power down, power back up again and I get to booting and am presented with an overclocking failed message...so naturally I hit reset to defaults and continue sequence and everything loads fine. Then I reapply my overclock...and it works fine for a few boots and the same thing happens.
I've just two weeks ago switched PSU so I've ever so slightly upped my VCore to 1.3625 to see if this remedies the problem...but it just seems odd to me to all of a sudden sometimes work and sometimes not.
Any ideas?
Just for reference, im running 350x8 at 6-6-6-18 2T in a ratio (according to CPUZ) of 4:5.
