Random partial freeze of PC

Recently built a new pc for the first time. Been getting occasion partial freeze of the computer where I can still move the mouse and minimise/maximise applications but not interact with them. The apps themselves mostly freeze up, videos stop playing and sound cuts out.
I've tried updating all drivers and BIOS but it's still occurring.
Unsure what to do next to fix this

Ryzen 5600x
Nvidia 1080 (trying to upgrade)
2x 16Gb Corsair Vengeance 3600

Anything else relevant?

Full system spec please inclding psu make and model.

Case: 275R airflow
PSU: Corsair RM 750x
OS: windows 10 pro
MB: b550 auorus elite v2

Run task manager and see if any process is using most of the cpu usage when this occurs.

Download mem test to test your ram for errors.

CPU usage is fine. I'll try out that ram test later. Thanks for the advice.
Problem I have is that I don't know how to recreate the freeze. It happens rather irregularly and not always under heavy loads

When it happens next time press ctrl +alt+del this will bring up task manager then you can see cpu usage .

a quicker route to open task manager is ctrl, shift and esc.
