Hi everyone hope you're all well. Over the last few weeks the PC has taken a turn for the worse. Its been fine for over a year. Brand new build cost me over £3000 ordered it all here, top of line stuff. Now randomly its started locking up and BSOD'ing. I really cant work out what is causing it. Its not giving me a mem dump that just stays at 0% and I cant find it in the system root so im guessing its not making one.
Things I have done to rectify the situation.
1. Updated graphics drivers. Done ( clean install )
2. Memtest on startup Done and no reported issues.
3. Disk Checked all drives and no reported issues.
4. Checked integrity of all drives NMVE SSD HDDx2 no reported issues.
5. Windows integrity check with no reported issues.
6. Deep scanned for malware virus's etc with AVG twice. Nothihng.
7. Checked temps - CPU 30/40c GPU 60/70c.
Event viewer has picked this up in the past. Issue ID 7 Drive 3 has bad blocks. (NMVE) This was a long time ago, not coming up during this issue. Also as above, windows says its healthy and integrity is fine so not so sure about that.
Some times when this has happened. Playing games, using photoshop, using UE4 engine, coming back to pc after being away for a while, randomly browsing web or desktop. So its totally random no pattern. PC locks up sound loops or slows down ( which is strange ) then basically i get CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED and BSOD no help at all. I tried the bar code scanner also no help at all. Looking for anyone to help me nail this down. Im a developer and I really cant have the PC dying on me like this were getting ready for a game launch in the next 8 weeks and this is killing me big time.
Also i have quite loud coil whine on one of the components. Not sure which. But basically when the PC hangs i can here a distinctive coil whine pitch. Dont know if that means anything to anyone.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Realistically dont want to have to reinstall windows unless absolutely last option.
Thanks guys.
Rich
