Hey guys, I've recently just built my new pc, however am having some difficulties when playing games such as SC2 , WOW, BF3 and SWTOR, during the games at random points my pc shuts down and just restarts. I've ran memtest and a msi Kombuster and they havent found any issues, my SSD's Vertex 2 + 3 are all updated to the latest firmwire and all temps are normal. Anybody have any ideas whats wrong?

If everything else is normal (temps, etc...), then I would either put it down to missing/ faulty software (Windows), or the SSD's if theyre Sandforce based, a lot of people had trouble with these.

can you list all the components?

whats the exact spec of your PSU?

does your motherboard have a 4pin or 8pin power supply? have you connected a 4 or 8?

have you overclocked?

thanks for a fast reply system specs are :
CPU - i5 2500k, Not overclocked
Mobo - Asus P8Z68 (Deluxe)
GFX - Msi GTX 560ti (Twin frozr 2gb version)
PSU - Powercool 750W modular
Ram - 16 gb (4x4gb) DDR3 1600 MHz dual channel
SSD's - Vertex 2E 120gb (Used for Games) and Vertex 3 60gb (used for OS)

Stueng - I get no BSOD it just dies and reboots its self and runs fine in windows till any games are loaded up then it can be 5 minutes or up to 2 hours till i get a restart.

For the power to Mobo it has an 8 pin connector and im using the 8 pin connector to power it.

Hope this helps

Exac same problem I have only thing in common is we both have twin frozr 560ti, I was running two in SLI and mine seems better since I took the second out... Too soon to tell if it's stable...I out mine down to PSU problems

Since you don't get BSOD it's not going to be a driver or RAM issue.... Maybe bump your voltages up, or if your motherboard supports it try setting the compensations to high or 120%... Not sure what they are called but they are in the BIOS under the overclock settings, also turn on the spread spectrum
