Random power loss Z77 & BF4

Hi chaps,

As the title suggests, I've started to get random power loss during gaming.
As yet it's only BF4, it does not seem to do this during lower demanding titles.

The computer completely shuts down just like a power cut.
At first I thought it maybe thermal cut out protection.

Once the first power loss occurs, it continues to cut out every 5-20 mins

But the whole system runs relatively cool, well nothing that would indicate its that causing the problem.

My theory is it's either PSU or Mobo starting to give up the ghost!
I cannot imaging anything other that that causing a complete power loss.

Another issue that happens now and again is power loss on startup.
When I power up the system, it lasts about 2-3 seconds as it starts the boot process.
It then losses power and restarts as normal.

GPU max 65c
CPU max 60c
System temp 45-55c (all temps after approx 1 hour gaming etc)

Spec
2500k - OC 4.5ghz 1.30v
Z77 mpower
Corsair vengeance C1 8,8,8,24 1600mhz
120GB samsung 840pro (os)
OCZ agility 3 60GB SSD
WD Black 500GB HDD
Corsair AX1200 PSU (only a few months old)
Asus xonar D2X
Asus GTX titan (happens stock and overclocked)

Any ideas?

+1.

Always test stability issues with NON-OC system.
Probably your CPU degraded a bit and doesn't want to work with 1.3V @4.5 GHz anymore.

Cheers for the reply's

Never thought about the CPU starting to get tired, I didn't think I ran enough voltage for that.
It's been up and down since I brought it, but it's a few years old now.

I did apply a little more voltage to 1.31v, but that didn't change anything and the problem still occurred.

I will try stock settings to see if that helps.

Yes it's totally random, no BSOD or any warning signs at all.

Dram is set at 1.50v (stock v & timings)

That's why I thought PSU / Motherboard, I usually get the blue screen when the overclock is not stable.

Will check VTT and post back

Well, I switched to bios B and loaded optimized defaults.
For some reason Bios A would not load defaults.

She is now back to stock settings but, I am now getting a blue screen within a few seconds of BF4 with the error code 0x3B (more vcore)

Optimised defaults on the mpower are 1.27v @ 3.7ghz?

It comes to something when it's not stable at default
