Hey all,

Basically I moved my computer into a new case last week and it has been totally fine until last night, and tonight. Where after being on for a good few hours, in both high power draw states (gaming) and low power states (browsing) it just cuts out. Then reboots (one of those weird ones where is turns on for a few seconds, then off, then on properly) and it'll be fine the rest of the night.

AFAIK I have not knocked anything out of place and it can't be a lack of power as I have ran my usual battery of tests and it ran fine. Also if it was a loose connection it would not cut straight out it would hang surely?

I'm somewhat confused, help?

My P8P67 deluxe used to do this. After a bit of searching, it was caused by LLC being too high. I think mine was on the highest, knocked it down 1 notch and ive not had any problems for over a week.

Interesting... Actually when I changed case my CMOS reset for some reason.. Maybe i'll have a look there and see if anything is outa place...

EDIT: Just been in the BIOS everything seemed normal, I only have 3 LLC options: Auto, Enabled, Disabled. It was on auto, on enabled the VIN is like 1.425v, I've disabled it and the voltages seem in check. Running Prime and IBT as we speak =]

Fixed it! (ish)

My MB cable has erm... melted? Where it meets my braided extension the last four pins and 1 before it are rather damaged, this loosened the already loose hold the connector had and CLINK it turned off.

Dumped the braided extension and hooked it onto the tight connector on the actual MB, doing this until I can source a replacement OCZ cable.

My generic PSU survived my OC for months, I buy an £140 PSU and theres a problem after just over a month.... Poor show from OCZ....

It looks like this (DSLR is currently charging)
