Random question - Jeep Cherokee (99) boot size (EddScott?)

Does anyone happen to have the dimensions to hand (or crazy google skills) for the boot (with rear seats down) for one of these? :p

I'm ignoring the spare wheel here, but.... hoping a double mattress will squeeze in the back! :eek:

You ninja edited that double matress bit.

You can totally fit one in the back. You might need to bend it into a U shape but it will easily go in!

[Edit: on a camping trip it was too cold and dark to set up our tent so we blew up a double airbed in the back of the jeep and it was fine]
 
Hang on, I'll just go and check :)

Width:-

Rear arch to arch - 109 ish

Plastic trim to plastic trim (under the rear window) - 130 ish

Wheel to plastic - 110 ish - if you have a problem, take the wheel out

Height - 93 ish

Length - 160 ish didn't put the seats down as I've got two child seats in the back and they are a PITA to get out.

Give you an idea though. Shouldn't have a problem with the width but it might not fit in the length. If you can't close the rear door just tie it to the tow hook for the authentic tinker look :)

As an amusing aside, I took my tow hook off and was surprised at its weight. Saves at least .0000005 MPG ;)

Hey, thanks for the help! To clarify, I am hoping to get a double mattress in the back with plans to sleep on it - weird, don't ask :P

I might have a scout around for double air beds, its only for emergencies.
