My best friend and my girlfriend are very closely related, being sisters.

Now if you were in the situation and you felt you had to choose between the two, where would your loyalties lie?

In my case, the following things apply.

I have never had anyone I can talk to like the friend. She is the most supportive and helpful person I have ever met. I also live with her.

I've never felt anything towards anyone like what I feel towards the sister, she really is quite special. However, I do only get to see her every other month at the very most.

Both of them mean a lot to me, yet as things are unfolding currently, it looks like I may only be able to 'keep' the one of them. What the hell am I supposed to do? :(
 
Well they were both very close, but recently they've been falling out a bit etc.

After various discussions with both of them, I think me being with the sister is causing problems not only with my friendship, but also to my friends general happiness.

It all seems a lot worse and complicated when you're drunk and its 6am though.
