Right i have a Thermochill TA120.2 radiator cooling my cpu loop.

I want to buy some of those tasty Monsoon compression fittings and ditch the horrid Barbs on the rad at the same time,

Now as we all know TA Rads are 3/8 screw fitting, not the standard 1/4 :/

So would i be correct in thinking that a 3/8" BSPP - 1/4" BSPP reducer would allow me to use said Comp. Fittings?

Correct, you may need some 3/8" dowty seals to go with them (if your buying industrial parts).

Just double check before you buy that they are BSPP and not BSPT, some places don't mark them up correctly and assume all BSP is parallel thread.

Dowty seals?

Currently looking around various places, as Ocuk don't stock them :(
the ones i'm looking at come with o rings.

Don't think they are industrial parts, quite liking the black ones Phobya make :)
 
If they aren't industrial ones and come with seals then you don't need dowty seals :)

Dowty is just a replaceable washer/seal that slides over the thread. Industrial variants don't come with pre-fitted seals/o-rings like design made WC parts.

Edit: We need some form of batman light signal for Cleee :p

All thermochill rads need reducers 3/8 to 1/4.Type this text in google
3/8" BSPP - 1/4" BSPP Reducer Bush w/Oring.Plenty of place's sell em and bay sells them as well.Then you can use any fittings you like.
 
That's what I thought as well, the G3/8" died with the PA series of radiators as far as I'm aware. It was one of the first things that was done when Thermochill were bought out.
