Would anyone be willing to help me try and sort out my random rebooting?

I have replaced my case, psu and cpu cooler and since then I get random restarts. Could happen after 20 mins or could go for 5 hrs.....

The main changes I have done are as follows:

My Raid0 2x raptors are now upside down.
I've installed a Mugden 2 cpu cooler
New 600T case
New Antec 850 High Current PSU

Is this a hardware of software fault?

Ive scanned the disk for errors/bad sectors and replaced the ram so far....

Do you still have the old PSU? If you have then trying plugging the old PSU into the rig outside the box leaving the new PSU in the case and test. Only connected essential components. If everything works ok with the old PSU, then it could be a faulty new PSU. Check the voltages on the new before thinking of an RMA.

Use my guide here:

It might also be worth re-mounting your CPU cooler. Make sure you apply the correct amount of thermal material. Use a system monitor such HWMonitor to check your temperatures.

This happned to me recently,

Turned out it was a corrupted windows install due to a bad burnt disk ( I got windows 7 from MSDN not piracy).

I put it on USB and that stopped it.

Also had problems with a faulty graphics card causing the same problems

Temperatures are fine, on max load they dont go above 50C.

I'll try my old PSU as recommended and if I still get the reboots then I'll try a new windows install on an old HD.

Does anything look suspect?

+1 to what the hudmeister says ;)

Try that then post back. Intimitant faults are always frustrating, as you get to a point when you think you've cracked it, then they come back and kick you in the ass :P

See what happens after you follow huddys advice and we can go from there.

Many thanks for the help. Trying the replacement graphics card now. If that doesnt work I will hook up the old PSU as Huddy recommends.

Great guide on PSU fault finding from huddysworld.co.uk

Makes sense, cheers.

Replacement Graphics card didnt help.

I am now running on my spare PSU.....I'll post back if this fails. I'll post again tomorrow if the spare PSU has solved the fault.

Cheers
