Hi all

I'm looking for a bit of help i'm getting random restarts to bios and there is no drives showing when I go into the boot tab but if I restart myself it loads up fine this was after i removed my powercolor r9 290 as i was going to sent it back to overclockers for repair (noisy fan) I thought it mite be something to do with the onboard gpu but I put the r9 back in and still get the shutdowns i'm wondering if its a psu issue as the p190 case has 2 psu's one supply's the hdd's and other drives and gpu while the other one supply's the mb any help would be great

cheers Nathan

Hi Grimley
they are Antec neo power 650w and a Antec neo power 550w they come standard with the case ive had the case since about 2008 and never had any problems so maybe one has finely given up the ghost but it seems strange how it works restarts but the drives dont show then i restart and it works again

its just done it again i quickly checked the fans at the back of the psus and one had stoped working so it must be the psu that is faulty

I'd check the 'faulty' PSU using the paperclip test.

Have a look here to see who the OEM is.

If its CWT then it will have had its day. PSU's tend to lose power output with age.

Replacement: (if you are happy with Antec)
