Random Restarts

As of the last two nights i keep getting random restarts, mainly with a few programs open or in game - but i can leave my comp on over night and its fine.

Temps are fine too.

Spec as in Sig - i've lowwered the over clock to see if its what but its still doing it,

When windows re-starts it says windows had a Recovered from Serious Error

so any recemmondations

Get rid of the oc and see if it still happens.
Run memtest, sp2004/prime and rthdribl and see if that triggers it.

Did you stress test it properly when overclocking?
Have you reduced all the relevant settings to ensure nothing except the cpu is above stock?
 
i've reduced everything and it still does it,

its really really random as it will do it while i'm just surfing the net, but not do it during game...
 
Did you run memtest like i suggested?
That will give you a simple yes or no, memory errors or not. Saves you messing about experimenting with different modules in different slots etc.
 
you still getting the reboots ???

when i had the memory issues the memory was actually fine just it dint liek running in the slot i had put it in. i changed slots and never rebooted. wierd
