Running Vista Ultimate (32-bit), and up until yesterday had never seen anything like this before!
I went to run iTunes, to which I got told that iTunes needed repairing (odd, but what the hey), so I went to download iTunes installer again from apple, the way I usually browse to any website when I haven't got an IE window open (don't try and get me to convert to firefox, I DON'T want to), by typing the address into the run box. So in the run box, I type:
www.apple.com/itunes
which randomly tried to open the iTunes application, again telling me that it was broken :/
If I type into the run box:
www.apple.com
it will open IE, and load the page, very odd. However, it gets stranger... typing:
www.google.com/itunes
www.apple.com/wmplayer
www.google.co.uk/wmplayer
etc, etc, etc, will all try to load iTunes or Windows Media Player applications respectively!
These are the only two apps I seem to be able to launch in this way, for instance, adding cmd or mstsc do nothing
Anyone got any ideas?
