Hi
fresh out of idea as to what the problem could be, about a month ago i experienced my first random shutdown(this is after many months of stability), first i get a blue screen of death with lots of codes on (but its appears/disappears so fast i cant read it) and it then shuts down automatically.
i have tried to eliminate the problem, first i thought it was the ram so tested it using MTEST, i test the ram for 5 hours but no errors were found. Still i loosened the timing and changed it from 1t to 2t. but still get random shutdowns.
then i thought it could be the hardrive are corrupted, but the western digital health utility program reports that both raptors are just fine.
so i have not got a clue what is going on.......could mtest be wrong, or could western digital HD utility be wrong!
any ideas would be great, thanks
