Hi guys, i've got a Sagem F@st 800-840 ADSL modem that i've had from tiscali for 3 years now.

For 2 weeks i suffered from huge packet loss (tiscali's fault) and now it's finally working...

The only problem is now, every 4-5 hours, i'll lose complete signal (red arrow) which requires me to wait till it go goes green then reconnect. Quite a few times this gives me BSOD as well which is incredibly fustrating.

Could my modem be packing in? i'm updating the drivers now

thanks

could just be a bad night :) or bloody BT borking things up for your isp. update the drivers or software (firmware) and reboot and see what happends

i thought it was a bad night at first but it's been doing it for the past 3 days now (sorry, should've mentioned)

I used to get regular blue screens with my old USB modem as well - apparently it's not uncommon. Why not consider binning it and getting a mains powered ethernet router - it might solve your problem and will definitely solve the blue screens.
