Looking for a mini-cooker that I can keep in the back of my van

Only really for warming up small quantities of food on the odd occasion. I am guessing the best solution would be a 12v inverter and a 230v appliance?

A bit random so not expecting too many replies :p

Have a look on ebay, you can get rubbish little heater/cooler boxes that run off a car socket.

one of these, http://www.lavertons.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3470&c=01&i=B004ROO2ZY

and use one of these to convert from 12v to 230v, http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000OO9V48/ref=asc_df_B000OO9V489903048?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&tag=googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=B000OO9V48

job done for under a 1'er :p

If you're going to use a 12v to 230v adapter, make sure you run brand new wiring from the battery with a inline fuse close to the battery.

I've got a gas stove for cooking in a pan, it's an oven that's missing! I'm thinking a cheap generator is going to be the best bet? 1000w inverter is going to drain the battery in about 30 minutes :(
