Hi, I've recently bought some new RAM + Processor and have been having non-stop problems. I thought it was a vista related problem so i reverted back to XP and now I have just had the same crash.

The computer will randomly crash for no reason, sometimes BSODs without any meaningful explaination as to the source of the problem, but most of the time it will just freeze dead and have a horrible repeating noise coming from the speakers. Windows log reveals nothing so I have no idea on what to go on.

One thing I will mention is that I bought the new RAM and processor for GTA4. The new drivers from nvidia came out at the same time so if there is anyone else experiencing the same issue I would like to know if im not alone.

I've tried Memtest86 which found no problems with my new RAM so I'm completely stuck :(

edit: I have recently been trying to set my Clocks on my ram to the correct readings. However, the motherboard sets them all to 5,5,5,15 when they SHOULD be 4,5,5,15. Also the voltage is set at 1.8v when it should be 2.0v. Lifes not as simple as just changing it, because for some odd reason my motherboard fails to boot everytime I even attempt to set the correct values in BIOS.

Thanks for any help, I'm really at the end of my patience with it.
