Random TV black screen

I've had my KS8000 a couple of weeks now. I've been playing BF1 multiplayer no probs on it. The HDMI inout is configured for HDR (UDI colour or something or other). I had to enable it.

However, last night I plugged in our new Sky Q Hub (we were on BT Infinity) and now the screen goes black for 1 or 2 seconds at random intervals. Usually 10 to 15 mins apart.

TV viewing is not impacted and I've not tried any other games yet.

Anyone seen this before?

i had similar with my set up and after numerous setting changes, nothing worked.

I eventually found it was the hdmi cable length. Once swapped for a shorter lead, no more black screens.

What console are you using ? If it's the Ps4Pro black screen is a fairly common issue, My friends does it on his TV also his console did it on mine.

Yeah it is a Pro. Odd thing is it was fine until I swapped out the BT router for Sky's!

UAKS8000 (7000 in europe) as my PC monitor screen cuts out every once in a while, its kind of peeving my off so glad i saw this post. One of my HDMI's is 4m while the other is 2m with Denon AV amp in the middle

So you think its the length of the HDMI causing the blackouts?

My Ks7000 does this with the PS4 pro. Although I don't get it every time I game.

I've been holding the power button down on the remote until the SUHD Quantum Dot logo appears and it doesn't do it again for my gaming session.

It can't be the length as i'm using the supplied PS4 cable - it's only a meter (I think)
