Hi folks,
I seem to be getting odd network issues when copying files across Windows shares. Both machines are Win 7 Pro 64-bit.
Currently I'm getting 10.7MBs. One is an Intel gigabit PCIe card and the other is an onboard Atheros gigabit PCIe card. Both are set for 1Gbps networking (green lights on the switch), jumbo 4K packets are on both and the switch supports them.
Last time I copied stuff I got 40-50MBs. This time is normal for me and it's as if it copies a few chunks then freezes for a while then does the same. It also jams the PC (a quad core) occasionally while it's doing it.
Any thoughts? It's really annoying.
