While this should probably be in the games section, i've posted it here due to recent news I just saw on BBC website about human remains in a suitcase. - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-53346855
Only found out about this app yesterday as I was in the youtube spiral last night, going random video to video and saw something about this app called Randonautica, basically it sends you to random spots near your current locations depending on options set. You walk/drive there and see what you can find. Sometimes it's just landmarks, other times folks are finding items.
There is a channel I follow about some urban explorers and they had used it and found some items at places it sent them, then were accosted when parked in their vehicle in the middle of nowhere. I've no doubt in my mind it was staged but it got my curiosity in the app.
Installed it from luxury of my settee, it wanted to send me just 300 metres down the road. Then something popped into my mind about said spot, it was somewhere that someone had been shotgunned in their car 6 years ago.
Now, that spot combined with the story above makes me think it's just some morbid folks having a little fun, I do wonder if there is something more illicit in the background though, watched way too much horror.
Anyway, i've got tomorrow off work, going to load up the app, jump in the car and see where it takes me and what I do/don't find. If anything, it'll get me out of the house for a few hours.
Anyone else had any personal experience with this and found anything of interest?

tl;dr - i might die tomorrow following directions on an app, might find Epsteins stash of tapes, might end up narnia, most likely will probably return home bored after an hour.
UPDATE: I didn't die, couldn't get anywhere of note - not as 'lucky' as these folk - https://www.reddit.com/r/randonauts/
