So I've had to buy a few range extenders due to my current situation, the router is situated in an adjacent building which is virtually touching the house, I can't have it relocated in the house unfortunately.
I've tried the route of Homeplugs but the wiring is too shoddy unfortunately so I've settled on range extenders.
I've had problems from the start, getting a connection ranging from 1mb/s to 10mb/s with no changes in the setup but aslong as I have a connection that's all I care about.
Anyway the problem I have now is that after a while the range extenders seem to go off the system and I have to go into the next building to restart the router then after that they work again without issue for the next few hours.
Currently all the range extenders have Static IPs, The Router has the DHCP enabled so would I be better off setting the range extenders so they're assigned an IP address by the router..?
