Hi I think I have setup this extender because I have lights on and when I uses the app it says you are connected to my router
But the lights I have circled in yellow in the image are not on I have tried everything possible but unable to get them on can you help thanks

What's the exact model number of extender so we can look up the manual? Can your devices at least see the WiFi signal coming from the extender?
 
According to the manual that part doesn't light up. It's just an icon to let you know the ring is showing you the signal strength.
