Range Rovers - What are they like?

I have had a Range Rover SVR for around a year now, outside of a £1500 service at an independent garage and lots of fuel as it regularly returns 10mpg it’s been fine.

They aren’t known to be reliable for sure, I would recommend buying one with the official dealer warranty.

My old 4.2 supercharged would return 13-14 just doing the short runs. I'd love an SVR though !

Had a TDV6 2015 Sport a few years back. Loved it. No problems really other than DPF based issues that were down to how I drove it (short and infrequent trips). Expensive to service but no more than BMWs or Mercs I've had. Gone back to LR now as picked up a 2025 P400 Defender in December. No regrets so far although I've already lost a bit of plastic trim in some bushland somewhere.
