[Rant]GRR Citylink

I called them up the first time and they told me I'd have to re-schedule it for another day through the company I bought the products from.
The strange thing is, the packages are making it back to the depot awfully quickly after I've supposedly missed the delivery, which makes me think they're not even picking the package up :/

hmm it seems the citylink drivers in all areas are lazy.. :P yeh i've had this happen before, and sometimes they've even had the nerve to not even leave a note, then say i wasnt in...

That's what has happened to me twice on the same package so far. Both times I've been in the house and we have such a loud doorbell, the neighbours have complained about it before, so it's not like I didn't hear the doorbell!

Sometimes they are good; sometimes they are awful.
Couple of times I paid 20 GBP for a Saturday delivery and get delivered a piece of paper with some words on it....

:p

If you phone the depot quickly (look on the citylink website to get your local depot number) the driver might swing back round and deliver again this afternoon.

Ring quickly though.

I've done this a couple of times.

Same here, it seems they "assume" home addresses people aren't actually in 9-5 so they don't bother ringing / knocking just stick the "we have called" card through the letter box.

I get most of my parcel's delivered to my work address, they have never failed to deliver before 10am....ever.

On the odd occassion that i have had a delivery at home they have been abysmally awful...carding me more often than not, then i have to drive about 20 miles to the depot to pick it up...useless idiots.

Same depot, different drivers.
