*Rant* Loaded with slow WU

Great, since xmas I've been loaded with WU that take DAYS to do, and really making my ppd suffer - is anyone else having the same thing. All my clients are loaded with eith 2124/2125/2126 projects. only worth 3/400 points *grrrrrrr*

Bl**dy straight, mine is too.

Damn things take 3 days for my poor box to struggle through.

It's halved my output, the swines!
 
My PPD dropped from 1.8k+ to 1.3k :( How single crunching machines can survive on such crap WUs I just don't know... I've checked all my clients, not one single one has got anything but a 212x's. :mad:

It sucks.

Oh yes, Mr Frenchie, I will be running the GPU client under your name as of 10pm...ish. Deffo be running by the time I go bed anyway. Since each WU takes approx 10 hours I have decided to crunch 3 WUs for you, and not just two. So you're getting an extra 330 points outta me :p

my first ever wu was 2124, my secoond (the one im on now) is 2125 :( !

It takes around a week for my computer to finish it as it isnt n 24/7 (about 9hours aday)
amd 64 3000+
 
Even my cd2 takes just less than two days to go through a 2125 and thats clocked at 3.8 I have a X2 4400 that has ONLY EVER had 21** and each one takes an age (that is not an exaggeration btw), may turn this bad boy off as its not worth running 24/7 for that, would cost me less building a cheap rig and running smp than what this uses in leccy

Have a gui client running on the same machine 24/7 but as I dont believe its a good idea running a vid card 24/7 overclocked it churns out 330 points every 14 hours or so at stock

Err not quite, when I woke up this morning my machine had crashed :o

Dunno what caused it [probably Windows having a strop about me using Linux :p] but a good 7 hours of Wuage was lost!

As soon as I am home I'll get her up n running again.
 
2124/2125 makes baby vent cry.
bad enough on the core 2s (folding 1-2 and brendas) but the AMDs (athlon XP 2500 barton with 1gig ram each) get sub 100ppd at times!!

GPU has been running strong. According to EOC you have had two 330 WUs dumped in your name. The last being 6am this morning which means there will be another dumped at around 4pm. Just to be on the safe side I will leave it running until later on tonight or until I notice you have had another 330 points dumped.

I should have you know I have absolutely crippled my PPD sticking to my word :p
