ok I have two rants here which I find highly annoying and thought Id share as I think you will all agree....but alas I know nothing will come of it

RANT #1
I just found out from my sister and her current flat mates, that one of their previous year flatmates stole some of my photos to use as his own in a project at uni, to state about his hobbies and what not....as his photos grrr...... I feel quite outraged about this in all honesty...

RANT #2
On my way back from London and for some silly reason I put Newcastle instead of Durham, still used previously living there I guess, so I went to ask at the information point in kings cross and ask if its possible to get off at durham (as I remember reading this, fella asks to see my ticket,

fella behind the desk: sorry matey I'm afraid you'll have to buy a ticket from Darlington to Durham, just tell the ticket person and inform them of this situation and you can get a single, its all I can do Im afraid due to your ticket type.....

ZOMG hideous! I have to pay to get off a stop earlier, even though Ive paid more to get of a stop later, if it doesnt happen on a bus why should it happen here ????, due to these hideous ticket barriers, otherwise Id just walk straight off.....grrrr again !

ok rant over :(

The second is irritating. The first is enraging.

EDIT: I'd even get in contact with the uni and tell them about it.

get off train, refuse to pay, let them take you to court? Its not a holding cell its a public train!

Not this AGAIN. For which he has paid for transportation to Point X, not Point Y. As I explained in complete detail last time (and the thread then received zero subsequent replies) it really isnt as simple as you think it is, nor should it be.

It also depends on what ticket he's bought. If he's bought it at the station on the day then it's entirely likely he was indeed entitled to get off where he wanted.

Point B, unfortunately can't be got around, the rules are there for a reason and have been discussed at length only a short time ago.

Point A, get in touch with the uni for sure, this is not on and needs to be reported.
