Rapidshare ****ers

Really bloody annoyed. I have been with rapidshare since basically they started operations, paying their exorbitant fee's each year.

(I do actually use it for legal reasons as well :p)


Then I log into my account (a mere couple of weeks since I took out another 56euro sub) and they have deleted my account for sharing with people.


WTF? Where the **** are all my files? I have never shared my account with anyone and indeed the RS account has only ever been used on one pc.

Rapidshare are not returning my emails as well.....


Really really annoyed -_-

I got an email about this yesterday actually, maybe they are doing some sort of check up. They didn't delete my account just warned me and changed my password to a new one.

I actually had been sharing it :p obviously I won't be now.

And I don't get how £3.50 or so a month is exorbitant (which is what it works out at if you buy months in bulk). Unless you're paying for something I don't.

unlike a certain section of people, I don't use it to download 24/7 365 days a year. I use it to store files and to recieve other peoples files (specialised area), so 54euros a year is a fair bit for my data needs.

However I've been more than happy to pay this over the years, but this is just taking the ****.
 
They must have some sort of customer support contact you can complain to? I doubt they would have deleted it permanently with no warning.

I login to my account and it says


Fraud detected, Account *********: This Account has been illegally used by several users.
