Had a google and couldn't find anything, and it's been annoying me for a while!

Are there any programs like RapGet but for Mac, as it's a pain in the arse having to download on my PC then transfer to my mac!

For anyone that doesn't know what RapGet is, it allows you to queue up rapidshare downloads and limit the speed and how many transfer at once etc

I used Speed Download when I had a Mac, but I use Flashget on the PC, so I just moved to another download manager.

Just tried that but it doesnt download rapidshare links correctly.

had this problem on the PC with download managers.

I think the program has to be specifically made for rapidshare links otherwise it just downloads a few kb and says its complete!

Aha!

Go to rapidshare, login to your premium, click the button that says "Options", and check the box that says "Direct-Downloads".

That should solve all your troubles :)

Just tried that download queue.

Installed it, copy/pasted a load of links from RS.com into it and it does the same thing, says it can't download the files as they are being redirected so it jsut downlaods a 3kb html file

What happens if you click one of the links or paste them in a browser window?

Do they download in Safari or go to another page first?

Do all the files have .html on the end?

If so copy the list into word and delete all the .html endings and then copy the list into your download manager. That worked for me at least (Just use find and replace in your word processor).

i use downthemall, and i made my own extension that takes all the plaintext links selected and opens a new tab with them all as clickable links - then i use downthemall to find all the links and download them :D

On your speeddownload settings...have you got your username and password in the site properties (forgotton what it's called exactly on speeddownload)?

That could theoretically cause the problem.
