Rapping 13 year old

This kid called Ben is 13 and currently a drum student of mine since last november, I see him every wednesday. He's actually pretty good. He picks things up quickly as I suspected since he's a rapper and freestyler with an obvious sense of rhythm and timing. He's got some studio backing and he's being promoted. How much I don't know, but it'll be interesting to see if he gets anywhere. He's on the left in this vid. See what you think. He writes his own lyrics.

Good flow to his rapping and excellent lyrics, he's better than some rappers in the charts.

Nice to know. I don't really follow rap so I don't know if he's good by today's standards or not, though it doesn't sound bad to my ears.

I dont mind effects being added to backing vocalists, in a lot of cases it saves costs with having to hire multiple singers, or a high profile singer that would charge a lot for their services.

The kid is really good though, no denying that.

The kid's got talent for sure. In a few years he'll be even better, especially with his voice changed
