Rapport security software

Anyone got any clues about this. Is it worth installing. Free from my bank.

Its not caused any harm as yet on my PC. Apparently it puts another link in the chain between your browser and your bank. It also tells you if the site your visiting is genuine or it doesnt know. Just an extra to be sure

I suppose it might be obscure enough to be useful, but it installs itself in the user space and is easily killed. Can't see the point really.

I used it for about a week. It essentially checks the sercurity certificates (along with a few other things) and just generally caused me hassle. However it would be worth it for a slightly less technical user who just wants an all in one check.
