Raptor 8mb cache versus Raptor 16mb cache

Whats the performance difference between these two types of drives? Is it noticeable?

I would be inclined to say there is a big performance difference but a lot would depend on the usage. The sustained read is about 10-15MB/s better on the 16MB cache model + you have the extra cache which helps loads and it is fractionally faster seeking. It really does come down to cost though. For a small difference, I'd get the 16MB cache but if you can get a used 8MB cache for a lot less, then that is probably worth it.
